EU/Ireland only 0.1% apart

Great news form the CSO – the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Ireland for May 2015 was 9.8%, a decrease 40,500 when compared to May 2014. You can see the full release here:

This means that unemployment in Ireland is now only 0.1% higher than the EU average (according to Google Data) which stands at 9.7%.

Software Architect

Ericsson Ireland is looking for a Software Architect to join our team. You will have overall responsibility for driving the major technical decisions, expressed as the software architecture, including identifying and documenting the architecturally significant aspects of the system, component and deployment “views” of the system,  providing rationale for these decisions, balancing the concerns of the various stakeholders, driving down technical risks, and ensuring that decisions are effectively communicated, validated, and adhered to.

This is a great opportunity to join the Ericsson Software Campus in Athlone, which has over 700 Engineers onsite and is the OSS (Operator Support System) headquarters within Ericsson globally and the main development centre for OSS and OSS RC Product lines. The OSS is the global market leader in mobile telecoms network management. The OSS system is delivered into 320 operators in 150 countries and manages over 1 Billion subscribers.
