Security should be banks’ main priority

An interesting article by Caoimhe Daly in this weekends Sunday Business Post.

These recent events are a wake-up call for all organisations that hold personal data. If you hold personal data, take time to check that your security systems are up to date. Access to personal data should be restricted to authorised staff on a ‘need-to-know’ basis. Computer systems should be password-protected, and personal data might need to be encrypted.
